Far as the curse is found

Darkness wraps close around us these winter days, perhaps in more ways than one. There is something beautiful about Christ the light entering into the darkness: a womb, a night, a broken world. Like a seed, planted, the darkness is exactly where the new Kingdom starts. Amid the thorns of our exile a new seed is pressed into the dark soil. Far as the night of the curse is found, the light of Christ will reach out. Within our very fear and hiding is the place the Christ Child breaks in.
